Kramer J. Services is family owned and operated, opened by Jon and Jeff Kramer and has been operating in West Michigan for over 20 years.
In 2001, Jon graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Crops and Soil Sciences, which included study of turf-grass, and landscape management. For about five years after graduation, Jon built and renovated golf courses. When Jon returned to West Michigan, he expanded Kramer J. Services to the lakeshore, and began servicing the areas from Holland to South Haven.
Jon was joined by, now, Partner and Director of Operations, Ryan Vogelzang, who graduated from Hope College, with a degree in Psychology and Business Management.
2020 marks Jordan’s 10th year as part of the Kramer J. Services team. As field operations manager, he leads our many crews on a daily basis to ensure that our client’s expectations are exceedingly met. Lately, his small amount of spare time is spent renovating his recently purchased home in Holland, with his new wife, Annie, and golden retriever, Wrigley.
We are pleased to announce the recent hiring of Joe Aernouts to the position of General Manager. Joe grew up in Hopkins and has been in the Saugatuck area for the past six years. He comes to us from Lakeshore Lodging, as General Manager, where he led in developing the management team/functions with emphasis on quality control and homeowner relations. Customer relationship management, as well as identifying and overseeing value added services, will be Joe’s key focus for the 2020 season.
Mark first hired on part-time at the retail yard while researching graduate schools. Five years later, he is now the Business Administrator and Manager of the Supply Yard Operation. When he’s not loading mulch, you can find him in the great out-of-doors, hunting, fishing, and camping. If you’ve visited the yard, you’ve more than likely met Mark and his partner in crime, golden retriever, Moose!
